Cristina Edwards is a non-disciplinary artist who expresses her creative essence through visual art, words, music, and craft. Born in England, she is the eldest daughter in a large, multiracial Filipino family. Cristina's work explores identity, belonging, non-duality, and the inherent life force all beings possess.
Cristina has spent many luxurious years working directly with mother Earth. These chapters include guiding extended wilderness expeditions, advocating for equity in the environmental sector, teaching in outdoor classrooms, and leading water-based seasonal programs. These places and experiences inform and nourish her life and creative practice continually.
Cristina practices in a variety of media, including painting, ceramics, fabric, weaving, writing, and singing. She practices as a teaching artist, and also works on public art projects and mural assistance. She has created intentional creative courses in a variety of media and focus areas, for both youth and adults. She is releasing her debut solo album, Summer Lullabies, in summer of 2026.
Cristina has lived in various parts of California, Florida, Wyoming, and Oregon. She currently resides in the SF Bay Area with her chosen family.
